Teacher Training Programs

Mt. Pleasant Pilates & Wellness is currently enrolling prospective students for our summer 2009 Peak Pilates teacher training program. Dates to follow in February. Call (843) 696-8000 for more information. 

Mt. Pleasant Pilates is teaming with Peak Pilates to offer premier education in a flexible schedule that's right for you. Peak students have access to a full range of classes - from workshops to teacher training certification programs. Their classical philosophy is simple: They teach how to teach and not just what to teach. Classical Pilates is rhythmic, fluid and focused - connecting one movement to the next to build greater strength, flexibility and endurance, and our coaching model heightens each trainee's confidence and capability as an instructor.

Peak Pilates modular certification programs allow you to progress at your own pace. The three-level Mat Certification and Equipment Certification programs are sufficiently structured for the new teacher yet rich enough for the experienced trainer. They also offer a Comprehensive Certification Program that combines Equipment Certification with the Classical Chair and Barrel workshops.

The Peak PilateSystem® Education series is designed for the busy professional or student who seeks authentic, complete, and progressive Pilates
education delivered in a time efficient manner. The 3 part Series is designed
to be a progressive educational path, with each subsequent course building
upon the others to form a full certification. ASPIRE to a Higher Level of Pilates
Professionalism. INSPIRE Others to Transform Their Lives.

Pilates Fundamentals & Advancing the System Workshop Dates:

January 17th  10am-Noon  (reservation required)

*Our 1st workshop was a great success! Students mastered exercises such as Snake with Twist, Tendon Stretch, Magician Leg Spring Series and Advanced Teaser to name a few. Come join us in February to learn more!

Apprentice Instructors

Mt. Pleasant Pilates is currently sponsoring two Apprentice Instructors who are completing their Peak certification. As part of the apprentice training, Angela Schary and Jessica Hoyt are offering reformer classes for $15 each (50% off the regular class price). Please contact the studio if you would like to sign up for an apprentice class.
